How Logic And Common Sense Lead Us To Discover The Truth Of Christ's Return (Or What The Holy Spirit Revealed To Me About Christ's Second Coming)

Here are the steps we need to take:

1. See Jesus as the divinely-intended covenant-maker of Daniel 9:27.

2. See the first half of Daniel's 70th week, not as the first part of some future seven year great tribulation period, but rather as Christ's public ministry among the Jews, confirming the new covenant promises of the Christian gospel (Matt. 15:24; Rom. 15:8).

3. See the married relationship between Christ and the new covenant, and how the resurrection of Jesus from the dead dynamically affects this relationship.

4. See that the new covenant includes the Gentiles, as well as the Jews, base on the universal nature of Christ's atonement.

5. See this present age of the calling of the Gentiles as encompassed by the second, or last, half of Daniel's 70th week.

6. See the concept of an "elongation," or time-free extension, of this time-frame period as required, both by the historical reality of Christ's resurrection from the dead, and by the universal nature and scope of the gospel.

7. See this present age of the last half of Daniel's 70th week as being symbolized in the apocalyptic prophecies of Daniel and the Book of Revelation by the time-correspondent "three-and-a-half year" designations of the 42 months, 1,260 days, and time, times, and a half.

8. See how each of the above three symbolic designators for the length of this present age can be deciphered to indicate the termination of this current age within the context of our immediate future--in the next couple of years!
