Israel Punished Seven Times

"And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins " (Leviticus 26:18, 21, 24, 28).

Now hold on to this thought and turn to Ezekiel chapter four. There, in verses five and nine, God tells the prophet to lie on his side 390 days, a day for a year, to signify the time of punishment for Israel's sin.

Further consider this: if the basic unit of time for the punishment of Israel's iniquity in prophetic revelation is 390 years, then "seven times" of her punishment would equal a total of 2,730 years—that is, the 390 years of Ezekiel chapter four, multiplied by the "seven times" of Leviticus chapter twenty-six.

Now biblical historians tell us that the northern kingdom of Israel went into captivity to the Assyrians in the year 722 B.C. If we allow that this was the beginning of the prophetic times of her punishment, and then we add the 2,730 years derived at in the explanation above to the year 722 B.C., we come to about the year 2008 A.D., which would place us, historically speaking, according to this view, at the near end of the "seven times" of Israel's punishment.

As astounding as this is, it is only an example that is still not the full story Please see our current updated and revised books, for the amazing unveiling of age-long prophetic numerological mysteries that point to the possible end of the world in the VERY near future.

In case you are skeptical of this (as those disillusioned by their prior knowledge and/or experience usually are) this is not the typical Darbyism that has put the church to sleep! It is the truth of God's Holy Word that Daniel said in the last days the wise would understand (Daniel 12:10).

And what if some do not believe? Shall their unbelief make the plan of God of no effect? God forbid. Yea, let God be true, and every man a liar.
