Why Progressive Revelation Demands Replacement Theology

God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son” (Hebrews 1:1-2).

These last days” is obviously the new, final messianic kingdom age that began with the first advent of Jesus Christ 2,000 years ago. Jesus is identified as the Messiah of the Jews, not in the sense of His “becoming” their Messiah at some point in the future, but in the full sense of Him actually “being” the Messiah of the Jews from the very get go.

The personhood of Jesus of Nazareth as the revealed Messiah of the Hebrew nation, while at the same time being the universal Saviour of all mankind, is indivisible. This one indivisible personhood of Jesus Christ is now the ultimate voice of God’s authority over the entire cosmos. No one belongs to God--no one knows or comes to God the Father--except through Jesus Christ (John 14:6). All who reject Jesus as God’s ultimate voice of authority over the entire cosmos, now abide under the manifest wrath of God (John 3:36).

Thus, it is logically impossible to sustain the notion that non-Christian Jews are God’s chosen people in any rational sense of language. Such a conception is based solely on the false premise that the promises of God to Israel in the Old Testament were unconditional. No Christian Zionist Dispensationalist has ever yet proved that any of those land and blessing promises were, in fact, unconditional. Instead, they were all conditional, every single one of them.

Christian Zionist teachings regarding the modern Christ-ignoring secular State of Israel are major doctrinal heresy, as far as orthodox Christianity is concerned--a return to the ideology of a First Century Christ-rejecting Pharisee ism.

The New Testament clearly teaches that all who belong to God are now being gathered into Christ’s Church (Matthew 3:9-10; 8:11-12; 21:43; 24:31; Ephesians 1:10). That Church is “one body,” meaning that there is now no difference in the racial status between Jews and Gentiles within this new covenant messianic kingdom age that began with the first advent of Jesus Christ.

The re-gathering of the Jews to Palestine in unbelief of Jesus as their promised Messiah is not the signal work of God. It is the working of Satan, rather, in preparation for the end-time manifestation of Mystery Babylon, and for the final wrap-up to the times of the Gentiles being fulfilled.
