Biblical Characterizations Of This Present Age

1. This present age is characterized by the messianic reign of Christ on old King David's everlasting, anointed throne. Please read and study very carefully Acts 2:29-36. No one can do an honest investigation of that passage and miss this point. Jesus reigns from heaven on earth now!

2. This present age is characterized by the proclamation of the kingdom. Since Jesus is truly Lord of all, then the affirmation of his kingship and his kingdom must be universally proclaimed. "This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world, for a witness unto all nations, and then shall the end come."

3. This present age is characterized by the continuance of evil. "Evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived."

4. This present age is characterized by the probation of Believers. "He that endureth unto the end shall be saved."

5. This present age is characterized by the millennial reign of the Holy Ghost in the hearts of the wholly sanctified.  "The best of all is, God is with us," John Wesley. "If we have Him, we have all we need," Martha L. Archer.
