Points To Ponder

"The fact that 'the Christ' the anointed one of Israel, is seated at God's right hand, has everything to do with David's throne. . . The dispensationalist must be commended for his desire to hold strongly to the full veracity of Scripture in its promises. But the denial of any connection between 'the throne of David' and Christ's current enthronement at God's right hand must be taken as an effort to limit the magnificent realities of the new covenant by the shadowy forms of the old" (O. Palmer Robertson, The Christ of the Covenants, p.252).

"Dispensationalists claim the only forces capable of evangelism are removed in the rapture. This leaves the "remnant" without an adequate cause of its existence, and also for its success. Until Dispensationalists correct this deficiency, the entire plan must be rejected as having no foundation" (Everett I. Carver, When Jesus Comes Again, p. 58).
