The Looming Danger Of Zionism
Many twentieth century Christians lost historical perspective over the creation of the State of Israel in 1948. They assumed that this event was a direct and major fulfillment of end-time Bible prophecy. And in one restricted sense it was. It was indeed a CONFIRMATION of Jesus' words in Luke 21:24 and Revelation 11:2; but that is as far as it goes. It did not mean that God was returning to a preoccupation with the concerns of old covenant Judaism, or that God's plan for redeeming the whole world from sin and Satan to truth and righteousness through the mission of His church had failed. It did not mean God had begun to switch to another plan.
Further, the creation of the State of Israel in 1948 did not mean that God was now considering unbelieving racial Jews to be his chosen people in lieu of the church. It did not mean that the great United States of America could now begin to be "blessed" by having the opportunity to proved to the world that she was on the Jews side, as per emerging popular dispensationalism's MIS-interpretation of the Old Testament. It did not mean that the church could now start ignoring the manner in which New Testament writers interpreted Old Testament prophecies concerning the Jews.
Friends, the nature of the Christian dispensation--God's full and final revelation of Himself to mankind!--was not affected in the least by the creation of the State of Israel in 1948! The significance of that event was rather a "sign" that the "times of the Gentiles" was coming to a close and the eschatological day of judgment should soon be expected.
Parsing the subtilites in understanding here is important, friends, for great outcomes hang in the balance. Dispensationalism would have us to believe that God has two separate plans for two separate peoples--i.e., racial Jews on the one hand, and His church on the other. Nothing could be farther from the truth!
God has only one plan of salvation and it is available to all mankind (including racial Jews) NOW by faith in Jesus Christ! Dispensationalism has abused the historical fact of the creation of the State of Israel in 1948 in the service of its own agenda. But dispensationalism is heresy, as far as sound Christian doctrine is concerned, and produces apostasy in one-time Christian churches. So how does this fact play out now in our understanding of unfolding end-time realities?
1. Before the recognition of the State of Israel in 1948 political Zionism was considered by many Western powers as a "terrorist" outfit in the way that certain organizations under its umbrella sought to disenfranchise native Palestinians and take over their lands. No Christians before the spread of popular dispensationalism after WWII believed that these Zionist terrorist represented the interest of God's chosen people!
2. Those same historic Zionist terrorist organizations have created an apartide state in what is now erroneously referred to as "democratic Israel." The shameful "wall of apartide" being built to divide and humiliate Palestinians on occupied territories is a blight on the moral conscious of the civilized world. Yet the US government, in beholdance to the power and influence of AIPAC, says nothing about it! The hypocrisy here is outrageous, and it is all based on our listening to the one-sided lies of the Zionist war criminals now controlling Western main- stream media, the US congress, and the State of Israel.
3. There is good evidence that it was these same Zionist terrorists who planned and executed the false flag operation of 911--all carefully calculated to draw the world's lone superpower into fighting foreign wars in the interest of Zionist world domination, particularly in the Middle East.
4. And if that is not enough, the contemporary worldly American "religious right" political movement--having ideologically returned to Judaism though the influence of its involvement with the heresy of Scofield/Darbyism--gives RELIGIOUS SANCTION to all of the above atrocity!
So where is this conundrum headed?
Friends, exactly where earthly Jerusalem was headed before its destruction by the Gentiles in 70 A.D. (see Rev. 17:16-17). The rift between the US/Israel axis and the old pagan empire is widening. Please WAKE UP!
